Alan along side 68719. In the holding sidings when he was 14 years old.. The Aberdeen-Inverurie Canal rose up on a number of
locks following the line of tenements in the background. The original GNSR from Waterloo Quay to Inverurie was built over
the old Canal, with some diviations according to the lay of the land.

Alan, who worked at Dyce and Craigallachie staions has a number of films, videos and photographs on YouTube of parts of the old
GNSR system under the name of Northscot. Alan also ran a narrow guage railway at Cruden Bay for a number of years. He has an
